Follow these steps in order for a complete and proper pooja.

Clean & Decorate the Home

Clean the house thoroughly. Decorate the pooja room with flowers, rangoli, and lights. Create a jhanki (cradle scene) with Lord Krishna as a baby.

Observe Fast (Nirjala or Phalahar)

Observe a fast throughout the day. Some devotees observe nirjala (without water) fast until midnight, while others take fruits and milk.
